Have you ever tried using dry shampoo on those days when you need to liven up your hair without spending the time to wash, dry and style it? I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical of the product at first, but it has come in handy for me, especially when Cody’s hair needs a quick touch-up. One day while out shopping I was looking for supplies in the pet aisle and was surprised when I came across a similar product for dogs. I wash both of my dogs myself and I’ve gotta tell you, it’s not a whole lot of fun and leaves my back a little achy from the constant bending over the bathtub. I grabbed a bottle of the waterless pet shampoo and couldn’t wait to get home so I could try it.
Waterless Dog Shampoo Review
The bottom line for me is that I love waterless shampoo for both my dogs. It’s convenient, smells nice, and serves a purpose when I don’t have time (or energy) to give them a full bath. I have actually been using it for about a year or two and it has become more and more valuable to me in recent months because my dog Jenna is 17 years old and has a great deal of trouble getting around most of the time, so you can imagine how difficult it would be to keep her standing in a tub long enough to wash, rinse, and dry her off. Even with Paul’s help, it’s just too challenging, so I’ve relied more and more on the waterless shampoo to clean her up when she needs it, especially after she’s had an accident. The best part is that it literally takes me just a couple minutes and she looks and smells almost as fresh as when she’s had a longer, more thorough bath in the tub. You literally just spray it on your dog’s coat, use your hands to lather it up, and wipe it off with a towel. If you have pets, especially aging pets who are often unstable on their feet, waterless pet shampoo will literally change your life. No really, I’m not kidding. If you’re like me and bathe your pets at home, or if you take them to the groomer and need something to use in between visits, I highly recommend you give waterless shampoo a try. It might just be one of my favorite must-haves, ranking right up there with coffee and wine.
