I saw this post a while back, okay a long while back, on my friend Mariana’s blog and I knew immediately that I wanted to have some fun and see how Nick would answer some questions about me. I love to hear a child’s perspective on the people and events in their world. I think we can learn so much from them and their unique insights, sometimes they are super serious or really silly, but either way I find it to be a great tool for me as a Mom to learn a little and see if there might be some areas I can improve on or some that I should never change.
I should mention that Nick is 12 and I initially thought he would find it way uncool to answer questions about his Mom for a blog post, but he was totally up for it and took it way more seriously than he needed to because he kept expressing that he wasn’t sure what the right answers were. I kept assuring him that there weren’t any right or wrong answers, just that he had to be honest and answer with the first thing that came to mind on each question. Once he got rolling, he seemed to really enjoy himself and I learned a few things when I read his answers.

I thought it was so fun to see his perspective and please share if you write a post. 🙂 Now I’m off to see about getting that million dollars. LOL
Minnie Mouse! How cute! This is the sweetest interview, Cathy! You can totally feel the love. Maya also had a hard time with some of the questions – she would give me answers that she thought I wanted to hear LOL. This was originally supposed to be a video, but there were so many ‘um’s and ‘wait, let me start over’s that I just ended up transcribing it. Thanks for the shout-out 🙂
I thought Minnie Mouse was very cute, too! It was fun to just see his thoughts and answers to the questions – I’m glad I saw it on your blog. 🙂
