I have been using a neti pot for quite some time. Initially it was for the overall health benefits, but then it was also for times when I wasn’t feeling well or battling with seasonal type allergy symptoms. I never had issues with seasonal allergies before the last several years. Every year in the spring I seem to be a little affected by them and it’s more of a pain and annoyance than anything else. I was so pleased to have the opportunity to try out the Waterpik SinuSense. I was eager to see how it would compare to what I’ve used in the past and how it would feel for my sinuses. The initial set-up was super easy. It’s battery operated – don’t let that scare you away, but the pressure wasn’t nearly as forceful as I expected it to be, but don’t fret, there’s a pause button if you need to slow down the flow a little bit or get a little nervous. Basically you fill the small reservoir with warm water and add a packet of of the soothing saline mixture with aloe vera extract and eucalyptus oil. Insert the tip into your nostril, stand over a sink, and turn on the power. Keep it there for about ten seconds or until half of the water is gone. Insert into the other nostril and repeat. Just make sure you grab a few tissues to have handy before using the SinuSense because you will need to blow your nose after washing each side. Just blow gently. The biggest challenge for some might be having to breathe through your nose, but once you get the hang of it, it’s really easy and so soothing. I love the vibration as the water solution flows through my sinuses. I can almost feel it cleansing away any unwanted particles that can build up, especially this time of year. Overall I feel like my sinuses are clear and healthy and I’m breathing more freely. I highly recommend the SinuSense for anyone who suffers from seasonal allergies or is just hoping to improve their overall health. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to find two tips with the product so more than one family member can reap the benefits of the sinus cleanser. Time is always a factor for me when taking the time to care for myself and my body. Something I love about this product is that from start to finish, including cleaning time, it won’t take you any more than five minutes. Five minutes for prentative healthcare. I’d say that’s more than worth the time and effort – at least to me it is. If the price is something that prevents you from taking the leap into sinus cleansing, check out these awesome coupons at the Waterpik website to help with your purchase! Their website is filled with great information on the product to get all of your questions answered before you buy, plus there’s a 14-day money back guarantee to offer even more confidence when considering your purchase. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter where you can see feedback from other fans or get your questions answered directly. I’m definitely a new fan and my sinuses are loving the massage they are getting on a nearly daily basis.
Disclosure: I was provided compensation and the product for the purpose of this review, but all opinions are my own and honest, as always.
Is this safe for kids ages 9-10 years old? I’m wondering if my daughter can use this to relieve sinus pains. Thanks for the information you shared
Greetings! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a template or
plugin that might be able to fix this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share.
Appreciate it!
