If you could travel to anywhere in the United States where would you go? I’d definitely need to think about it for a little bit, but I’m pretty sure I’d choose someplace that’s warm and sunny with palm trees lining the streets. However, everyone is different and while one person might like to take a vacation and visit their favorite ski resort someone else might prefer to lay on a sandy beach (covered in sunscreen of course) while enjoying a good book. It doesn’t matter to me what someone else considers a relaxing vacation as long as they actually get to take a vacation every now and then. The problem is that time and that pesky little thing called money can often get in the way of taking a much-needed vacation with your loved ones and that is why I’m so darn thrilled to share U.S. Cellular’s MyAnywhere Photo Contest with you! Since you can benefit from U.S. Cellular’s network coverage all across the country (often in areas where other wireless carriers don’t work), they want to see where your ‘anywhere’ takes you so get ready to snap some pictures (one of my favorite things to do with my snazzy new Samsung Galaxy S7) and enter this amazing photo contest! Not only can U.S. Cellular customers win amazing weekly prizes, but the grand prize winner gets a trip for 4 to anywhere in the United States! Yes, you read that right. If you win the big prize you get to take three people with you anywhere you want to go in this big, wide, beautiful country of ours.
What are you waiting for? Oh yeah, the rules. You should probably read those, but then hurry up and start capturing and sharing your best photos from the middle of anywhere because this contest ends very soon.
How to Enter the U.S. Cellular MyAnywhere Photo Contest
- Take one or several beautiful photos.
- Share your photo(s) on Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook.
- Include the #MyAnywhere hashtag and tag U.S. Cellular in each post (this step is important so please don’t forget).
- Enter as many times as you like (as long as each entry includes a different photo) between now and the end of the contest, which is June 26th (HURRY).
- Be creative with your photos because they are looking for your unique perspective.
- Get ready to think outside the box as you snap a photo of your city’s skyline or your grocery store’s parking lot or your neighbor’s yard (just get their permission first) because it’s that simple to enter the MyAnywhere contest!
- Be a current U.S. Cellular customer and read the more detailed rules and regulations, which can be found on the the contest page.
Here’s a video that might explain things a little better than I can – check it out!
Disclosure: I’m a compensated member of the U.S. Cellular blogger brigade, but all thoughts are my own and you should totally enter this contest.
Hmm.. if it were summer, I’d want to go to Alaska. If winter, I’d want to go to Hawaii. I get it about somewhere warm! I have been wondering about the coverage in Alaska!

Oh boy, good point, Tamara. Traveling to Alaska would definitely be a great way to test the coverage. I think I’d love to take a cruise there someday!
Wow, what a great contest. There are so many places I’d like to travel to.
Me too, Helene, but I have a feeling I’d stick to a place I already know and love. So exciting for whoever wins!
I would love to go back to Hawaii or to Florida!
We are going to New York City next week so that should be fun… I would love to see Alaska too. Especially during whale watching season.
So many people seem to love Hawaii, Heather! While it looks beautiful to me, I’m not sure I could handle the 10(ish) hours of flying to get there. I think I’ll take Florida or maybe California. 🙂
What a great contest. There are so many places I’d love to go – I think my first choice would be going back to Alaska!

I’ve never been to Alaska, Lois, but the cruises I’ve seen look absolutely wonderful, gorgeous, and fun.
I would love a vacation! I need blue waters so I’m thinking I’d go to the carabiean!

Oh Amanda. I’m right there with you. Some pretty blue water sounds lovely right about now!
I may have to give US Cellular a try. We’ve used AT&T and their coverage map seems to be horrible in all the important places to us.
You definitely should at least check them out, Patrick. We’ve been with them for around 10 years and have been pretty pleased with the coverage and especially the customer service.
I have Hawaii on my brain. I look at vacations constantly, but airfare to Hawaii for 5 is a deal breaker. 🙁

Oh my goodness, I hear you Maryann. While I’m not sure I’d travel all the way to Hawaii from the East Coast, it always looks like such a gorgeous place to visit. I can’t even imagine the cost of airfare for our family of 4, let alone yours of 5. Yikes.
Hmm, if I could go anywhere I’d probably choose a national park or Disney park! So different but so fun in different ways.

Totally get what you’re saying, Jennifer. Disney parks are at the top of my list, but national parks are most definitely fun too.
Ah I’m not their customer and am locked in a contract. Sounds fun though. I’ll check out the other entries.
Contracts can be such a bummer sometimes, Rosey!
My boyfriend is a customer, so I should have him enter this! I’d probably head towards the water somewhere if we won.

Ooh, I hope he entered Liz! The water sounds like a perfect choice to me.
Keep these arielcts coming as they’ve opened many new doors for me.
Cathy Watched your live concert at the Pentagon. It was great to hear your new song. Tried to buy your CD from the Celtic Thunder site but my bank thinks it is a fraud charge and won’t approve it. I ever got a call that day about it. Guess I will purchase it thru Amazon and get you to sign it when I see you December 7th in Seattle.
this is an easy one – I would definitely take a trip back to Maui as I fell in love with it the last time I was there.

That sounds like a wonderful choice to me, Laura, even though I’ve never been to any of the islands.
