Did you know that last year U.S. Cellular launched the Spotlight on America’s Backbone contest which encouraged small businesses in the company’s footprint to enter to win free advertising, money and 12 months of wireless service to help increase the size of their business? To further show their dedication to business owners, U.S. Cellular expanded on that this year and provided consumers with more access to tools and encouragement to help grow their business or make their entrepreneurial goals a reality by working with ABC’s Shark Tank.
The first phase included casting calls, which took place several months ago, when U.S. Cellular arranged access to the nighttime show through a selection tour solely within their footprint, providing small businesses the chance to pitch their business, product or idea for an opportunity to present it to the Sharks on Shark Tank, for a national television audience.
Shadow Shark Tank Sweepstakes!
The second, and probably most exciting phase, is the sweepstakes, and you can enter now! This is where U.S. Cellular customers like YOU have the chance to win unique access to the casting call process and listen to tips and advice from small business owners. Even though I’ve only watched it a few times I can honestly say it’s really great, exciting, fun show to watch. Especially when the Sharks and the entrepreneurs make a deal.
