I don’t know about you, but I love receiving packages. I love when I see one sitting beside my mailbox or when a delivery driver knocks at my door and hands me a box with a goody inside. I especially love to track my packages. Obviously.
Know what makes me love this service possibly the most? A basic membership is FREE! At that level, you get a long list of benefits and features, like:
- Delivery alerts via text, phone, or email the day prior to delivery.
- Approximate delivery time
- Authorize shipment release (basically go online and authorize UPS to leave your package without requiring a signature when you won’t be home to sign).

UPS My Choice is having its first birthday! Ooh, first birthdays are so exciting, aren’t they?
For the past 365 days, UPS My Choice has been helping almost 2 million consumers get their shipments delivered when and where it’s convenient for them. UPS sends an email or text the day before the package arrives and if the delivery time doesn’t work, there are options to reschedule or reroute it.
Throughout the past year, UPS has sent more than 20 million of those delivery alerts and delivered 18 million UPS My Choice shipments! That’s pretty good for a service that’s just getting started.
