A dino-mite night

Since arriving here at Walt Disney World on Thursday, we’ve barely stopped moving. Between the amazing family events as part of the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration to the incredible speaking line-up for myself as an attendee, there’s so much to absorb. Last night was possibly the most special so far, especially if you ask the boys. After the Animal Kingdom park closed, we were all transported over on buses for a private event in the DinoLand section of the park. There was delicious food, fabulous dance-your-butt-off music, and visits from favorite Disney characters. Oh, one more things. There were rides. As in, there were rides open especially for us. Can you even imagine having a theme park virtually all to yourself where you can just get on a ride, get off of the ride, and immediately ride it again? I couldn’t have imagined before last night and seeing the looks on my kids’ faces brought me more joy than shopping at Target while sipping a Starbucks mocha. One of the most incredible moments of the entire evening was that Cody would get to ride the Expedition Everest roller coaster for the very first time. And immediately after that, for the second time. I’m pretty sure he could have ridden it many more times if the party hadn’t ended. This morning we learned that those who rode Expedition Everest last night are in a very exlusive group of very few people who have experienced that attraction in the evening. Yes, I’m very grateful. I can’t say that enough. I can’t wait to share more about this incredible time we’ve been having and will continue to have as we extend our stay after the conferences ends tomorrow morning.

Disclosure: I paid a fee to attend this conference, but as an attendee I received complimentary items, special discounts, and other exciting benefits such as food and entertainment, so my family and I could experience the magic of Walt Disney World.
