I agree, Debbie. I actually made the suggestion of Converse because I think it’s insane to buy a pair of dress shoes that you might never wear again. They will both definitely wear these shoes a lot in the future. 🙂
My daughter is in 8th grade in Waterville but celebrating her Quince in Guatemala this summer, we’ve already got the short dress in purple and she is going with custom made purple sequin Converse high tops-definitely comfortable and easier on her feet… plus she had her meniscus repaired last month so heels are definitely out for a little while.
and those Converse your son’s date are wearing are really cute, they definitely look comfy and can be worn with more than one dress which is a big plus!
